Co-Founder and Executive Chairman
Laurence Marshbaum manages a portfolio of alternative investments with Sunsuper, is a member of the Australian Industry Fund Impact Investment group and is a passionate social entrepreneur and change maker. Laurence was the chair of the young divisions of the JCA and UJIA in Sydney and London. Established the young division of the One to One Children’s Fund in London, sat on the fundraising committee for the JCA and is a current member of Jumpstart Committee. Laurence co-founded 10×10 Philanthropy in 2013 after a lifetime affiliation with communal and charity work internationally.
Julia has over fifteen years of experience in the funds management industry in both Australia and New York and is currently the Director of Investor Relations at Australian Private Equity firm Adamantem Capital.
Julia Koop joined the board of 10×10 in 2014. Julia was part of the organising committee for the 2016 Nexus Australian Youth Summit and has been involved in social enterprise and community development work internationally.
Daniel is Vice President at Moelis Australia, a financial services group that provides corporate advisory, equities and asset management services. Daniel has been involved in the philanthropic community for a number of years and is passionate about driving social innovation for the next generation of philanthropists. Daniel previously sat on the Building and Capital Committee for the JCA and is part of The Observership Program Alumni.
During his career Paul has held senior positions within various global marketing and advertising businesses and is currently a Creative Partner at leading Australian integrated communications agency, The Works. His creative and strategic works for major clients has been highly awarded. Paul has a keen interest in design and sustainability and in 2015 launched Ocean Collection which creates desirable objects from salvaged marine debris.
Alison has had over 20 years experience as a digital executive working in corporates and founding 2 technology start-ups. She recently completed a postgraduate degree at UNSW and has worked in various consulting roles in the not for profit space. Alison is passionate about applying technology to social innovation and changing the paradigm of giving in Australia.
Digital Marketing & Events Co-Ordinator
Sabine’s professional background is marketing communication; she has 15 years of international experience in publishing, media, advertising and digital industries. Personally Sabine strongly believes in community power and feeling good about giving. Attending a 10×10 event in Sydney was a real eye opener for her and she joined the amazing 10×10 team.
Kate Stock – (SA)
With a background in naturopathy and psychology Kate has been involved in a number of 10×10 events in Adelaide and is passionate about getting more people involved in philanthropy. Kate represents the Day Family Foundation (a PAF heavily focused on supporting education and disadvantaged youth) and has been on several fundraising committees over the last decade including the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Captain Courageous Foundation.
Kurt McFarland – (NSW)
Kurt is a former investment banker who now works in strategy and transformation. His involvement with 10×10 has evolved from initially attending an event in 2015 to volunteering as a committee member, assisting with sponsorship opportunities, managing a committee and now as NSW Ambassador for 10×10. Kurt is passionate about 10×10’s mission to encourage philanthropy amongst young people and to support innovative charities and social enterprises.
Ashleigh Day – (VIC)
Ashleigh is currently working in marketing and is also a qualified secondary Commerce and English teacher. Ashleigh has been involved in several 10×10 events including managing a Melbourne committee. Ashleigh is passionate about philanthropic objectives that focus on issues facing young disadvantaged Australians especially education equity. She has been involved as both a participant and volunteer in various not for profits including the Mercer SuperCycle challenge.
Nathan Schokker- (QLD)
Nathan is the founder of Talio, an integrated commercial property services business. After being invited to 10X10 by a friend of a friend in 2016 he didn’t miss a heartbeat in putting his hand up to help 10X10 with future events and continued success in Queensland.
Emily Stubbs – (UK)
Emily is Head of Marketing at a finance broker in London and has over 8 years experience managing marketing and brand development in financial services and luxury marketing. Having sat on the Hong Kong committee before, Emily launched 10×10 in London in 2017 with a record-breaking result and is focussing on building the 10×10 brand through events, PR and partnerships as 10×10 ambassador for the UK. Emily is passionate about supporting grassroots charities who are combatting key social problems.
Stephanie Costelloe- (HK)
Stephanie is a Senior Practice Director with Australian architecture practice BVN, and currently heads up their Hong Kong studio since relocating from Sydney to Asia in 2015. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering major complex architectural projects and extends that passion to her 10×10 work in Hong Kong. Stephanie sees a huge appetite for engagement in philanthropy, particularly from young expat communities who want to give back to the city that has provided them so much opportunity.
Sophie Targett-Adams – (US)
Sophie is a passionate digital marketer, with over 8 years experience in digital advertising, working at eBay and Google. A born and bred Londoner, Sophie moved to New York in 2017 to manage Media & Entertainment advertisers. After attending the inaugural 10×10 London event, Sophie went on to launch the US market, which has enabled her to drive the 10×10 mission of inspiring younger communities to make incremental social change for which she has a strong passion for.
