The magic of the 10×10 experience happens around the world with the hard work and dedication of a group of awesome people, largely volunteers. Key members of our team are below.
Co-Founder and Chairman
Laurence Marshbaum was founding Chair of 10×10 Philanthropy in 2013. Previously: founder of the Young Division of One to One Children’s Fund (London); Chair of YUJIA (London); foundation member of JCA Jumpstart (Sydney), and; chair of YJCA (Sydney). A keynote speaker at the Nexus Global Youth Summit – United Nations (New York) and the Social Good Summit (Australia), Laurence is Portfolio Manager – Alternative Strategies for Sunsuper, contributing to leadership in socially responsible and impact investing.
Julia has over fifteen years of experience in the funds management industry in both Australia and New York and is currently the Director of Investor Relations at Australian Private Equity firm Adamantem Capital.
Julia Koop joined the board of 10×10 in 2014. Julia was part of the organising committee for the 2016 Nexus Australian Youth Summit and has been involved in social enterprise and community development work internationally.
Daniel is Vice President at Moelis Australia, a financial services group that provides corporate advisory, equities and asset management services. Daniel has been involved in the philanthropic community for a number of years and is passionate about driving social innovation for the next generation of philanthropists. Daniel previously sat on the Building and Capital Committee for the JCA and is part of The Observership Program Alumni.
During his career Paul has held senior positions within various global marketing and advertising businesses and is currently a Creative Partner at leading Australian integrated communications agency, The Works. His creative and strategic works for major clients has been highly awarded. Paul has a keen interest in design and sustainability and in 2015 launched Ocean Collection which creates desirable objects from salvaged marine debris.
Gabrielle is a senior executive with 20 years experience in retail, media and finance. She holds a Bachelor or Commerce from the University of NSW and is a Chartered Accountant. Gabrielle is passionate about social justice and supporting disadvantaged members of our community.
Kurt is a former investment banker who now leads finance teams in high growth organisations and is passionate about tackling the most challenging problems facing our world today. He has been involved with 10×10 since 2015 and has been the inaugural Ambassador for NSW since 2016. During this time Kurt has led more than 10 events in Sydney and has helped to refine the 10×10 model and improve its scalability as the organisation grows internationally.
Cally is an experienced media and marketing professional who has worked across the media and advertising industry for the past 14 years. Cally has extensive experience in digital, technology, TV sponsorships, business development, strategy and leadership. She currently works for Google in the YouTube team. Cally is passionate about empowering the next generation to succeed and find purpose.
Nici has more than 25 years experience in marketing, events and business development in the sports, media and charitable industries. With an undergraduate degree in sports management and a recent MBA, Nici is passionate about growing the global 10×10 Philanthropy movement because together we can boost start-up and grass roots charities everywhere.
Events and Operations Manager
Benita has a background in marketing and events with experience in media, publishing and hospitality. She has completed a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in media. Benita is passionate about giving back and making an impact in the community – 10×10 gave her the opportunity to do what she loves full time.

Hannah is a digital marketer who, inspired by her parents welcoming at-risk people into their home, was looking for a way to use her skills for good. Hannah is passionate about the life-changing impact connecting with the right people at the right time can have – and she loves that she can help forge those connections at 10×10.

Kurt is a former investment banker who now works in strategy and transformation. His involvement with 10×10 has evolved from initially attending an event in 2015 to volunteering as a committee member, assisting with sponsorship opportunities, managing a committee and now as Head of Sydney for 10×10. Kurt is passionate about 10×10’s mission to encourage philanthropy amongst young people and to support innovative charities and social enterprises.
Riley Mongan – (VIC)
Riley has a passion for helping to develop people into the best versions of themselves. He has spent the last decade travelling around the world in multiple roles from National Sales Manager, to drummer in a band on a little Thai Island.
Riley currently runs two of his own companies in the investment and sales coaching space and takes his role as Head of Melbourne for 10×10 just as seriously. Every new project he undertakes gives him a renewed energy and drive!
Nathan Schokker – (QLD)
Nathan is the founder of Talio, an integrated commercial property services business. After being invited to 10X10 by a friend of a friend in 2016 he didn’t miss a heartbeat in putting his hand up to help 10X10 with future events and continued success in Queensland.
Eddie Marshbaum – (UK)
Eddie is Co-Head of 10×10 London. Having been involved from the outset, and originally an Aussie, Eddie has led the charge with 10×10 UK alongside Emily and Morgan, helping to reach over £200,000 raised from the first 10 events. By day, Eddie is a sports integrity and governance consultant and also volunteers for a number of other community organisations and charities.
Morgan Kainth – (UK)
Morgan is co-head of 10×10 in the UK. By day, Morgan is a Digital Transformation & Product Strategist, startup advisor, charity trustee and champion of millennial giving. She was drawn to 10×10 because of its innovative model, re-write of perceptions around millennials and what drives them, and it’s commitment to supporting high-impact, small charities.
Sophie Targett-Adams – (NYC)
Sophie is a passionate digital marketer, with over 8 years experience in digital advertising, working at eBay and Google. A born and bred Londoner, Sophie moved to New York in 2017 to manage Media & Entertainment advertisers. After attending the inaugural 10×10 London event, Sophie went on to launch the US market, which has enabled her to drive the 10×10 mission of inspiring younger communities to make incremental social change for which she has a strong passion for.
Sarah Gelb – (NYC)
Sarah attended the inaugural 10×10 event in NYC, and was inspired to get involved. She has since led 3 committees and now serves as the Co-Head of the New York market. As an event planner turned finance professional, Sarah is passionate about putting these skills to use to create events with maximum impact for grassroots charities and to encourage philanthropy in her community.
Stephanie Costelloe – (HK)
Stephanie is a Senior Practice Director with Australian architecture practice BVN, and currently heads up their Hong Kong studio since relocating from Sydney to Asia in 2015. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering major complex architectural projects and extends that passion to her 10×10 work in Hong Kong. Stephanie sees a huge appetite for engagement in philanthropy, particularly from young expat communities who want to give back to the city that has provided them so much opportunity.
Luisa Cooper – (LA)
With nearly twenty years of creative acumen forged in global fashion and trading companies, Luisa’s career has spanned design, development and publishing. Luisa relocated to Los Angeles in 2018 to establish 10×10 as Head of LA. Bringing creativity, determination and dedication honed in the competitive fashion industry and refined in 2011 when, having never run a mile she completed the “Gobi Desert March,” a 160mile ultra-marathon in China, Luisa is excited to support 10×10’s growth in 2020 and beyond.
Leora Lerba – (SF)
Leora is passionate about strengthening communities to nurture and support all individuals. As a psychotherapist, she sees the benefits that a vibrant, inclusive community can have on physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Volunteering has always been an important value of Leora’s and after learning about the 10×10 model, she was determined to bring it to San Francisco. Leora is enthusiastic about encouraging others to participate in local communities and learn about how we can support one another.
Alaina McGregor – (NZ)
Alaina first became involved with 10×10 while living in Sydney and was a committee member for three events from 2015-2017. After moving back to New Zealand in 2019, Alaina launched 10×10 in New Zealand in that same year to help support the many incredible grassroots charities in need and foster a culture of philanthropy among young Kiwis. Alaina is currently a Senior Communications Advisor for Southern Cross Healthcare Group. When she isn’t working or organising the next 10×10 event, you can find Alaina training for her next triathlon.
