Alaina is a driving force in changing the face of philanthropy in New Zealand, uniting a more diverse and representative range of voices who are questioning, collaborating and reshaping the future of charitable giving. Alaina first became a 10×10 committee member in 2016 while living in Sydney and was motivated to bring the movement to Aotearoa after moving back home in 2019.

Alaina has 20 years experience in public relations which she draws on to grow 10×10’s impact in New Zealand, and to drive awareness for the work that 10×10 and its partner charities are doing in the local community. Alaina is the Marketing Communications Lead at Southern Cross, a group of health and insurance related businesses that share a not-for-profit ethos.
