John is a Partner at AirTree Ventures, a leading venture capital firm which has backed many of the most successful technology startups to emerge from Australia and New Zealand. He currently serves on the board of 9 high growth technology companies including Employment Hero, Frankie One, Inquisitive, Linktree and Joyous. He has spent the last decade in venture capital, prior to which he held roles at Summly (acquired by Yahoo), Facebook, The Boston Consulting Group and Allens Linklaters.

John is passionate about the power of entrepreneurship to reshape society. He is particularly focused on diversity and finding a path to opportunity for those with non-traditional networks.
